This wonderful family has summered on this estate for generations, as respite from their busy Manhattan Upper East Side lives. The newest generation wanted a larger, up to date kitchen and dining area, complete with a wet bar, so they could enjoy entertaining guests who regularly show up for summer soirees.

We went state of the art with professional appliances, including a full suite of Viking Appliances, including a 48 inch range with a griddle, a convection oven, and a complementary speed oven, as well as a column fridge and freezer. An ice machine and refrigerator drawers helped to outfit the bar for the ultimate entertainment zone.

We want a true richness to the cabinetry, so we chose an extra-thick cabinetry door with a deepened profile to provide a substantial feel. Lacquer paint on both the cabinets and the walls pulls the space together in a vibrant, luxurious style.
