Meet Sharon Gunther

Sharon’s passion is creating exquisite luxury interiors and custom kitchens that transcend expectations- spaces that inspire, comfort, and delight. She doesn’t believe in a singular aesthetic; instead, she crafts bespoke interior design solutions that are entirely unique to you. Each project is a reflection of your individuality- spaces that feel personal, extraordinary, and effortlessly stylish. Sharon takes the time to understand who you are and how you live, because her goal is simple: for you to feel a sense of joy every time you walk through your door and to come home to a haven.

Sharons Background

Sharon Gunther holds a degree from Tufts University, along with two advanced degrees, including one in spatial planning and interior design. Throughout her distinguished career, she has designed more than 100 refined and exclusive luxury interiors, custom kitchens, and residential and commercial design projects. Her work has earned multiple Best of Houzz awards, reflecting her commitment to exceptional design and client satisfaction. Sharon is a proud member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Beyond Design

A lifelong Long Islander, Sharon Gunther treasures time spent with family, friends, and her dogs- often by the water, whether boating, relaxing at the beach, or hosting casual gatherings at her beach house. An enthusiastic, if self-described unremarkable, runner, she enjoys participating in local races and is perfectly content finishing in the middle of the pack. Travel is a constant source of inspiration for Sharon’s interior design work, with Paris and hiking adventures in the Rocky Mountains among her favorite destinations.

Giving Back

Community is at the heart of Sharon Gunther’s life and values. She serves on the Executive Board of the Huntington Townwide Fund on Long Island, an organization that supports more than 30 local charities. Each year, Sharon co-chairs the organization’s Thanksgiving morning four-mile run, a beloved community event that brings people together in the spirit of giving and gratitude. As a decade-long breast cancer survivor, she also volunteers with Pink Aid, helping to support women and families as they navigate their own breast cancer journeys.
