We love working with this fun and bustling family of five (plus pets!) on their rambling home in the woods. Set against a verdant background of trees, spacious lawn, and pool grounds, this home had great bones but no furniture. The project started when we were called by the builder to help with a bath remodel, but ultimately grew into us designing every living space from the primary suite to the family living spaces, to the exterior kitchen, and patios beyond.

This family needed plenty of lounging for three college-aged kiddos and their folks, with a durable yet stylish vibe. We aimed for cozy and warm to complement both the surrounding property and the client's personality. Texture abounds, with leather, boucle, fur and hide, and wool plaids. We used accents of iron in the more rustic den, but in the adjoining living room, we went dressy and divine with champagne tones and mother of pearl accents.
