My Top 10: Part 1- Must Have Kitchen Accessories

In today's blog post, we're diving into the world of kitchen accessories—the unsung heroes that can transform a kitchen from ordinary into an extraordinary cooking haven. These favorites aren't just items from a random list; they are tried-and-true accessories that I cannot live without. These additions have stolen my heart and become an essential part of my own kitchen design.

So put on your apron, grab a cup of coffee, and let's explore my top 10 favorite accessories that turned my kitchen into a space I love coming home to!

  1. Hidden Walk-In Pantry

Imagine a kitchen free from cluttered countertops and overflowing cabinets. Thanks to the hidden walk-in pantry, this dream becomes a reality. It's like a secret jewelry box for my kitchen essentials, keeping my primary kitchen counters clutter-free and serene. I keep all (yes every single one) of my countertop appliances in here, freeing up my primary kitchen counters for prepping and entertaining. With ample storage for food, appliances, and even a freezer and microwave, it's a lifesaver that brings joy to my cooking experience.

2. Walnut Exposed Rollouts

Who said storage can't be pretty? In my kitchen, I've fallen head over heels for these walnut exposed rollouts with notched drawers. They add a touch of elegance while making access to my cooking necessities a breeze. I also think they are stunning in their gorgeous dark walnut way. It's the perfect combination of style and functionality!

3. Scooped Front Rollouts

Tired of rummaging through cabinets to find the right dishes for dinner? Say hello to the scooped front rollout! With its clever design, it provides easy access to dishes, mugs, linens, and the like, making mealtime a breeze. It's a small touch that brings big convenience to my kitchen routine.

4. Walnut Accents

Walnut accents are like the cherry on top of a delicious sundae—they add warmth and charm to any kitchen. I placed them lovingly around the space, at the island, under the range top, and even inside the pantry cabinet, where they have adjustable shelves and brass brackets. These walnut accents have taken my kitchen's design to the next level. They create a sense of cohesion, making my kitchen feel like a cozy haven that I never want to leave.

5. Coffee Bar

I admit it; I am a coffee addict. That's why I transformed a corner of my kitchen into my very own café. Complete with apothecary-style drawers, a glass cabinet with glass shelves and sides that allow light to shine through all day long, and a sink with a hot filtered faucet for tea, this corner is a favorite spot to make a cup (or three) of joe.

That wraps up the first part of my must-have kitchen accessories. From the hidden walk-in pantry to the walnut exposed rollouts, the coffee bar to the custom stucco range hood, these special items transform my kitchen into a space that looks fabulous and functions like a dream!

Remember, designing your kitchen should be a joyful and creative journey. Don't be afraid to let your personality shine through and embrace the elements that make your heart sing. After all, your kitchen is the heart of your home. Stay posted for part 2 as we dive into range hoods, Bahama doors, etc! Until next time, happy cooking and happy designing!
